= One Time Setup Fee
In order to get a Box account, your are charged for a one time setup fee of USD 20.00

= Shipping Charges
Our shipping charges are rated at USD 7.00 per half Kilo
This Covers the handling and shipping of the items from USA to Lebanon. But does not cover Insurance fees, customs duties, Ministries' approval (if required)

= Customs Duties
Customs duties and VAT are charged separately upon goods' arrival to Beirut. Official Customs receipt will be given to customers with their shipments.

= Chargeable Weight
Some shipments may weight 100 grams, but they have dimensional weight of 600 grams. You determine the dimensional weight by multiplying the Length in (centimeters) by the Width and the Height and divide the total by 5000.
The Carriers will charge the higher weight.

= Delivery In Lebanon
UCS NetShopper rates DO NOT cover home delivery in Lebanon. All shipments should be collected  from UCS offices in Achrafieh against payment of charges. Special delivery can be arranged  at additional charge.

We have listed below some charges that you might expect if you select the related services:

1- Insurance: 3% of the goods value, minimum USD 10.00, covers total loss.

2- Customs Clearance: 10% of goods' value, minimum USD 10.00 per consignment. Clearance charges apply to all items including books and documents.

3- VAT: 10% of item value + shipping + customs duties

4- Credit card payment charges: 5%, Or minimum USD 10.00 per check out.
If we locate the item(s) on the internet/shop and buy: + USD 10.00 per check out.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Some Items are subject to ministerial approval, like medicines, vitamins, DVDs and Videos, etc...
Such items will require additional formalities at additional costs.

UCS reserves the right to:

-Refuse shipping items that are not suitably packed for shipping.

-Refuse the reception , carriage , shipping or delivery of any item related to or suspected to be related to fraud , theft or any illegal actions. And deny any responsibility therefore.

-Cancel the account of any customer related to or suspected to be related to fraud , theft or any illegal actions. And deny any responsibility therefore.

-Report to relative Authorities , local and/or international , any of the above.

Shipments with value exceeding USD 950.00 will require an additional customs formality called: BAYAN, at additional cost.
